Supply Chain Planner – Team Horizon

 

We are currently recruiting a Supply Chain Planner (12-month contract) for our client’s site in Sligo. The successful candidate will support, plan, engage in logistics & purchasing activities and provide ongoing administrative, coordination and planning support within the Supply Chain. The Supply Chain Planner will work directly with, Operations, Purchasing & Supplier Management, Project Management, Quality Assurance, Suppliers and Customers with a strong emphasis on customer service.

What you will bedoing:



  • SME for Supply chain DSP & Cvend and remain always audit-ready during Internal/ External audits.


  • Ensure all necessary Supply Chain SAP activities are implemented and effective to support current commercial and future new product introductions.


  • Preparing SOPs and raising Change Requests to support NPI project timelines


  • Ensure planning parameters on SAP are accurately maintained and up to date.


  • Opening/Maintaining of Commercial, Project and Engineering Process Orders


  • Supporting and chairing of weekly supply chain meetings as required.


  • Manage change co-ordination activities for supply chain team including review of applicable supply chain implementation readiness forms (IRF’s)


  • Support NPI activity through assisting with Shipping and Global trade compliance and assisting with Knowledge transfer at product commercialisation phase.


  • Process Improvements: Position will be responsible for identifying and implementing process improvements


 

What you need to apply:



  • 5 years’ experience in a similar position is desirable


  • Experience in a Supply Chain role is essential


  • Intimate knowledge of MS Office packages, particularly Excel.


  • Advanced SAP/ERP knowledge and capability essential


  • Experience of Planning, Purchasing and Logistics essential


  • Experience of working in a busy manufacturing environment is an advantage


  • Strong Organisational and Planning skills


  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.


  • High accuracy and strong attention to detail


  • Excellent teamwork skills


  • Initiative and Innovation to generate and implement improvements
