- Supply Chain Planner – Team Horizon
We are currently recruiting a Supply Chain Planner (12-month contract) for our client’s site in Sligo. The successful candidate will support, plan, engage in logistics & purchasing activities and provide ongoing administrative, coordination and planning support within the Supply Chain. The Supply Chain Planner will work directly with, Operations, Purchasing & Supplier Management, Project Management, Quality Assurance, Suppliers and Customers with a strong emphasis on customer service.

What you will bedoing:- SME for Supply chain DSP & Cvend and remain always audit-ready during Internal/ External audits.
- Ensure all necessary Supply Chain SAP activities are implemented and effective to support current commercial and future new product introductions.
- Preparing SOPs and raising Change Requests to support NPI project timelines
- Ensure planning parameters on SAP are accurately maintained and up to date.
- Opening/Maintaining of Commercial, Project and Engineering Process Orders
- Supporting and chairing of weekly supply chain meetings as required.
- Manage change co-ordination activities for supply chain team including review of applicable supply chain implementation readiness forms (IRF’s)
- Support NPI activity through assisting with Shipping and Global trade compliance and assisting with Knowledge transfer at product commercialisation phase.
- Process Improvements: Position will be responsible for identifying and implementing process improvements
What you need to apply:- 5 years’ experience in a similar position is desirable
- Experience in a Supply Chain role is essential
- Intimate knowledge of MS Office packages, particularly Excel.
- Advanced SAP/ERP knowledge and capability essential
- Experience of Planning, Purchasing and Logistics essential
- Experience of working in a busy manufacturing environment is an advantage
- Strong Organisational and Planning skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

- Initiative and Innovation to generate and implement improvements
