- Supply Chain Planner – Team Horizon
We are currently recruiting a Supply Chain Planner (12-month contract) for our client’s site in Sligo. The successful candidate will support, plan, engage in logistics & purchasing activities and provide ongoing administrative, coordination and planning support within the Supply Chain. The Supply Chain Planner will work directly with, Operations, Purchasing & Supplier Management, Project Management, Quality Assurance, Suppliers and Customers with a strong emphasis on customer service.

What you will bedoing:
SME for Supply chain DSP & Cvend and remain always audit-ready during Internal/ External audits.
Ensure all necessary Supply Chain SAP activities are implemented and effective to support current commercial and future new product introductions.
Preparing SOPs and raising Change Requests to support NPI project timelines
Ensure planning parameters on SAP are accurately maintained and up to date.
Opening/Maintaining of Commercial, Project and Engineering Process Orders
Supporting and chairing of weekly supply chain meetings as required.
Manage change co-ordination activities for supply chain team including review of applicable supply chain implementation readiness forms (IRF’s)
Support NPI activity through assisting with Shipping and Global trade compliance and assisting with Knowledge transfer at product commercialisation phase.
Process Improvements: Position will be responsible for identifying and implementing process improvements
What you need to apply:
5 years’ experience in a similar position is desirable
Experience in a Supply Chain role is essential
Intimate knowledge of MS Office packages, particularly Excel.
Advanced SAP/ERP knowledge and capability essential
Experience of Planning, Purchasing and Logistics essential
Experience of working in a busy manufacturing environment is an advantage
Strong Organisational and Planning skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
High accuracy and strong attention to detail
Excellent teamwork skills
Initiative and Innovation to generate and implement improvements
