Description

Team Horizon is seeking a Supply Chain Coordinator on a permanent for our client who are the multi-award winning, health company based in the Midlands.

What you will be doing:



  • Maintain accurate demand forecasts for the product portfolio based on historical data, market trends, and customer requirements.

  • Coordinate production schedules with Contract Manufacturing Sites and Packaging to meet customer demand while considering lead times and production capacity.

  • Create and adjust production schedules based on supply availability, production capacity, and demand forecasts.

  • Support the Distribution Centre operations to include receipt of goods inwards and preparing goods for shipment.

  • Oversee the coordination between suppliers, manufacturers, and logistics providers to ensure on-time delivery and product availability.

  • Collaborate with Quality Assurance to ensure that the products meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.

  • Work with the quality team on supplier, customer and new material set up – specifications and documentation.

  • Support process improvements within the function.

  • New product integration and support.

  • Project support to implement a new ERP system and maintain the supply chain activities on the ERP system.

  • Ensure compliance with pharmaceutical shipping regulations, including temperature controls, packaging, and documentation.

  • Ensure all supply chain activities comply with pharmaceutical regulations, including product handling, packaging, and transportation. Ensure proper documentation and traceability.

  • Liaise with third-party logistics (3PL) providers to ensure the efficient and compliant movement of product across regions.

  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as fulfillment rates, lead times, inventory turnover, and associated costs.

  • Participate in cross-functional meetings to ensure that supply chain activities align with broader business goals.


 


What you need to apply:



  • University graduate (bachelor honours or masters’ degree level). Degree in supply chain management is a plus.

  • At least 2 years’ experience in supply chain / logistics role within a regulated environment. Pharmaceutical or Medical Device industry.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, data analysis, demand planning and reporting tools.

  • Experience in ERP systems.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with proven ability to influence stakeholders both inside and outside the business from different functions

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to identify issues and propose solutions.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Fluency in Business English (Verbal and Written)
