- If you are an experienced business professional and CIPD member our client has an exciting opening to join a dynamic team in Ballytivnan, Sligo on a 12-month fixed term contract. In your new role, you will help HR by making sure that processes and policies drive the business forward. What you will bedoing:
Supporting HR management with staffing decisions aligned to the recruitment & selection process.
Developing and delivering employee engagement programs and HR initiatives.
Guiding staff on employee relations, employee discipline, and performance.
Making sure all local/national, European and corporate HR policies, procedures and laws are being adhered to.
Investigating and managing employee relations issues and ensuring compliance with site disciplinary procedure.
Developing leadership training programs
Running quarterly leadership forums and HR clinics.
Developing and coordinate communications programmes.
Leading the performance management process, ensuring all due dates are compiled.
Ensuring adherence to legal requirements.
Proactively identifying potential employee initiatives by taking part in management and employee meetings regularly.
Maintaining an accurate job documentation system by carrying out job analyses, determining status, grade and ensuring that job descriptions exist for active jobs.
Delivering employee training.
Ensuring employee documentation, changes to employees' status, pay and benefits, annual performance appraisal process, employee relations investigations, employee discipline, and employee terminations to maintain compliance with internal and external policies regulations.
Preparing monthly HR metrics.
Representing HR and associated projects by conducting research, analyzing data, and compiling statistical reports and information.
Working with confidentiality and sensitivity to the employee and corporate data and not disclosing confidential information.
What you need to apply:
Degree in HR, business, or a related discipline
CIPD membership
6+ years of associated work experience as a HR Business Partner or generalist
Expert understanding of HR policies & procedures
Experience managing employee relations issues.
Detailed knowledge of Irish employment law.
Skilled at designing and delivering leadership training programs.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Relationship building skills at executive level.
Skilled at creating a support network to facilitate the close of assignments.
