Team Horizon is seeking a Digitalization Lead to join our clients IT Systems/BTS team in Mayo. In this role, you will champion digitalization across the campus promoting the digital agenda and infusing digital as a guiding design principle throughout while working closely with manufacturing process engineering and automation you will input digital solutions in system/process design discussions

As part of your exciting new role, you will lead a team of data analysts to provide data analytics and digital services. This team will apply digital techniques to support root cause investigation and identify process improvement opportunities through data science, engagement with key stakeholders across the campus and manufacturing process knowledge

What you will be doing:



  • Liaise with Manufacturing, Quality, and Operation Excellence stakeholders to develop an inventory of digital opportunities which will be prioritized and actioned as part of quarterly digital steering governance team.


  • Develop and promote the adoption of a digital toolbox for all functions and business units across campus.


  • Drive the digital methodologies and technologies used for trend monitoring and data science initiatives in technical and quality areas


  • Support process improvement opportunities that lead to quantifiable efficiencies in product yield, reduced cycle time, cost avoidance and cost reduction: all within the framework of preserving product quality. 


  • Establish a data analytics service portfolio which can be consumed during RCA investigation and design and implementation of CAPA enhancements.


  • Working with the training group develop training collateral and promote adoption of the digital toolkit within the DMAIC mindset


  • Provide subject matter expertise as the site move in maturity from POMS to “EBR-lite” and eventually full MES.


  • Participate in Smart Factory, Connected Plant and Factory of the Future knowledge exchanges, Community of Practices and Governance meetings.


  • Promote standardization and leverage existing expertise local and external to exploit digital solutions to the maximum potential.


  • Work closely with BTS IME Colleagues to ensure Smart factory implementation meets IME requirements for security and resilience (PiaB)


  • Participate in NPI (New Product Introduction) projects from initiation to ensure digital by design is a guiding principle for process design.


  • Participate in continuous improvement programs to implement improvements in the quality, safety, environmental and production systems and any other duties as assigned.


 

 

What you need to apply:



  • You will have a 3rd level qualification in a quantitative field such as Advanced Analytics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, or Econometrics AND/OR applied science field such as Chemistry, Pharmacy, Chemical Engineering, or Biology.


  • You will have 7+ years’ experience in BioPharma manufacturing environment.


  • 5+ years’ experience in business analytics, manufacturing data analytics, data mining, or statistical modeling in a manufacturing life science environment.


  • You will have a Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements around cGMP data.


  • Experience in People management, Project management and strong communication skills are required for this role.


  • Proven experience with an OSI-PI.


  • Strong understanding of Cyber Security and data analytics recipes is a definite advantage.
