Quality Assurance Specialist – Team Horizon
We are currently recruiting an ambitious Quality Assurance Specialist (Initial 12-month contract) to be part of our client’s team who are a global, research-based biopharmaceutical company that combines the focus and passion of leading-edge biotech with the expertise and capability of an established pharmaceutical leader.
Reporting to the Director of Supplier Quality, the Specialist for Drug Substance/Drug Product Manufacturing will be responsible, with management support, for providing oversight of quality activities associated with drug product manufacturing processes to contract manufacturing organizations.

What you will be doing:
The Specialist contributes and guides completion of milestones associated with specific projects and supports ongoing quality assurance responsibilities in support of
Contract Manufacturing oversight and quality systems including Change Control, Deviations, and CAPAs.
Performs all responsibilities in accordance with company policies, procedures, and federal regulations.
Support the client’s drug product manufacturing and assessing the compliance of this program against best industry practice and current regulatory expectations.
What you need to apply:
BA/BSc or equivalent in Biological Sciences, Chemistry, Microbiology or other science.
3 years’ experience in Quality with medical device, pharmaceuticals, or biologics experience.
This position requires the individual to understand and follow written SOPs, record all work legibly and in real time; close attention to detail is necessary.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Ability to prioritise work and work effectively as part of a cross-functional team.
