- Supply Chain Co-Ordinator – Team Horizon
We are currently recruiting a Supply Chain Coordinator (12-month contract) for our client’s site in Sligo. The successful candidate will be responsible for prioritizing, planning, scheduling, and following up on requests for shipment to assess priority and capacity requirements of the work for inbound & outbound shipments. The focus of the role is not only day to day but also to be proactive and optimize workforce and warehouse capacity and productivity. The Supply Chain Coordinator will support the Warehouse Team Lead in implementing process improvements and associated documentation updates and leading ER investigations.

What you will bedoing:
You will be the principal contact and liaison between the warehouse department and planning and purchasing, operations and engineering. You will ensure the departments receive professional warehouse service in a timely manner to ensure schedule adherence for warehouse deliveries, production orders, and outbound shipments
Review all planned and unplanned plant support requests and determine validity and accuracy of information and engage the appropriate resources to set a preliminary priority
Day to day shipment management and coordination
Global Trade & Compliance Coordination. Work closely with the GTC group to prepare the site for any AEO/conjunction with finance & GTC (PP/RB)
Process improvement – review WH capacity and implement improvements where required
Support ER investigations and CAPA implementations for warehouse
Assist in audit preparation/documentation updates and ensure warehouse is always audit ready
What you need to apply:
5 years’ experience in a similar position is desirable
Experience in a Supply Chain role is essential
Temperature controlled shipping experience and international shipping knowledge (working with GTC)
Experience in a Medical device/Pharmaceutical or Biologics Manufacturer with a lean manufacturing-environment is essential
Demonstrated experiences of problem-solving and process improvements activities
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Experience implementing continuous improvement methodologies and programs such as Six Sigma, DMAIC and/or Lean Manufacturing
Strong computer skills and advanced expertise in MS packages including Excel, Visio & Powerpoint
Positive mental attitude and ability to perform a multitude of tasks simultaneously with a helpful, friendly attitude
