NPI Technical Manager – Team Horizon

 

We are now recruiting a NPI Technical Lead to lead our client’s diverse Technical Operations NPI team in Ballytivnan, Co. Sligo. As the new NPI Technical Lead, you will provide technical support and program management to all manufacturing operations and NPIs throughout the site while reducing standard product costs by the successful identification and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives.

What you will bedoing:



  • Provide technical support to all manufacturing and control system related issues. Tasks include, daily process monitoring, trouble shooting, optimization, cost reduction, training and coaching of manufacturing personnel.


  • Provide technical leadership of all new process activities during project start-up.


  • Identify and project manage continuous improvement projects - leading and coaching the process engineering team and working with other departments to deliver these continuous improvement projects.


  • Prepare feasibility studies and operating budgets for future product introductions to the site.


  • Plan and lead technical transfers for future product introductions to site.


  • Support financial budgeting in partnership with the management team.


  • Project Management of medium scale biologics projects.


 

What you need to apply:



  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant Science/engineering discipline


  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar type of role with minimum 5 years’ experience within Pharmaceutical or Bio Industries


  • Strong technical and operational knowledge of unit operation within a fill finish facility
