- Finance Analyst – Team Horizon
Team Horizon currently has an exciting opening for a Finance Analyst on temporary 12-month Fixed Term Contract for our client’s Biologics & Medical Devices facility in Sligo. In this role, you will be part of our client’s Finance team that support day to day operations, ensuring business success.

What you will bedoing:
Preparation of site month end reports and latest best estimates on a monthly basis and subsequent submission to corporate
Review and report on project spending while working with management to identify cost reduction opportunities
Ability to implement process improvements in the finance department to keep the company in line with best practice and procedure
Prepare journal vouchers monthly to ensure accounts are accurate on a monthly basis.
Provide input to plans/updates and LBE's for review by Plant Finance Manager and Site Director.
Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
Ensure monthly accounts align with all policies and procedures including Sarbanes – Oxley requirements.
Provide Support to the Manufacturing Facility, participation in finance weekly meetings, and be aware of safety.
Technical Activities – Keep up to date on all accounting issues.
Variance Analysis – review of monthly management accounts so as to identify any deviations from Plan or Update thereby enabling corrective action to be taken if necessary.
What you need to apply:
You will be a Qualified Accountant – ACCA, ACA, ACMA with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a financial/accounting position
You will have high attention to detail and mental concentration, to ensure accuracy and total compliance with Financial Procedures at all times.
Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to new regulatory requirements.
You must be results driven striving to meet all targets and metric standards as set by department/site and division leaders.
