- We currently have an exciting 6 months opening to work on our client’s manufacturing facility in Galway. Sitting in the R&D department the Vehicle Test Driver will carry out in-vehicle capturing and testing across different projects. This role is best suited for an individual with a full clean EU driving License and experience of fleet management.

What you will bedoing:
Understanding and debugging vehicle test equipment
Complying to driving logs, policies and procedures in place
Communicating vehicle issues if they arise
Understanding of the function being tested and discovering challenging real world use cases
Adhering to security policies in place
Making yourself aware of all regulations prior to testing.
Organizing payment of all attained fines and tolls in a timely manner.
Developing decent knowledge of applicable software packages.
Attending review meetings and providing detailed feedback on test runs.
Adhering to quality guidelines and in-house policies.
Making sure Health & Safety rules are complied with.
Helping with internal/customer visits when requested.
Completing annotation and ad-hoc team requests when test driving requests are low
Reviewing annotations and ensure all annotation rules are adhered to.
Travelling for advanced levels of driver training to various OEM sites.
Self-promoting and achieving higher categories of driving license in Ireland
What you need to apply:
Full clean EU driving License
Experience of fleet management
Experience of vehicle wiring and engine maintenance
Fluent English
Team player with creativity.
Continuous improvement mindset
Experience and capable in PC operation and debug.
The ability to travel for long periods, up to 3 months at a time if needed
Availability to travel & work out of office hours as requested
Project Management skills
Good budget management skills
