What you will be doing:
In this role the Supply Chain Manager will further develop and implement the supply chain which supports the commercial objectives of the business by delivering a best in class, cost effective service to our customers.
The successful person will be responsible for driving aggressively on-time delivery of products and ensure the effective management of inventory.
Provide reports and analysis to other business functions to support the monthly target setting and forecasting process in terms of inventory and shipment planning
Pro-actively communicate supply risks and mitigation of back-order issues to other departments is very important
What you need to apply:
Degree in Business/Supply Chain Management
3+ years’ experience in Supply Chain Function, preferably with some supervisory experience
Experience in global SCM standards and processes
Solid understanding of regulations or has experience of working in a regulated environment
Experience in Lean Management concepts & approaches
Some experience of e-tendering process is an advantage but not a necessity
Team work skills are hugely important as effective collaboration with other departments, such as Customer Service, Operations, Commercial, Finance as well as external stakeholders is very much the Company way of working.
