- Team Horizon is seeking a Project Engineer for a Contract Position on our client’s site in Mayo. This is an attractive role for someone seeking a variety of projects and enjoys working to a high standard. The successful candidate will be a team player who is comfortable collaborating with cross functional departments, possesses excellent communication skills and has strong project lifecycle experience.

What you will be doing:
Preparing, scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring of assigned engineering projects.
Cooperating and communicating with the project manager and other project participants and collaborating with senior engineers to create more efficient project methods and to maintain the project's profitability.
Reviewing the engineering tasks and initiating the necessary corrective actions.
Developing specifications for the project's needed equipment.
Develop & conduct quality inspections during the construction phase of projects.
Ensuring the project's compliance with the applicable codes, practices, policies, performance standards, and specifications.
All other duties as requested or assigned
What you need to apply:
Knowledge in civil, mechanical and electrical construction practices.
Strong knowledge in engineering principles.
High competency in Microsoft Office Suite of products. Project scheduling skills with experience in Microsoft Project including schedule development and maintenance desirable.
Ability to understand and willingness to follow corporate policies and procedures for Capital Project Management
Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.
Project Management training desirable
Minimum 5 years’ experience in Manufacturing and Engineering, including planning, design, installation and commissioning in a GMP Environment.
Requirements Analysis, Design Skills, Project Management, Knowledge of Construction Methods and Materials, Process Improvement, Technical Understanding, Documentation Skills, Risk Management, CAD/CAM
Must have excellent computer skills with Word, Excel, Outlook, MS Project, AutoCad, Solid Works
Excellent Communication skills.
