- Team Horizon is seeking an Operational Excellence Lead for our client based in Sligo. The Operational Excellence Lead will provide support to all departments from an operational excellence perspective, and to develop new and innovative processes to deliver cost reductions and support our Digital Transformation Strategy.

What you will be doing:
Establishes an operational excellence OpEx culture, ensuring that all employees become involved in the OpEx initiative
Manages implementation of overall OpEx strategy
Support sites Digital transformation strategy, driving the OpEx influence on Industry 4.0.
Aptitude for digital solutions to business problems (Data Analytics, Digital Performance Management, etc.)
Ensures strong communication of the perfect index plant wide via monthly perfect index updates, PIT and site wide presentations
Assists OpEx project teams
Manages project issues/available resources
Ensures OpEx Team and management are aware of potential roadblocks
Conducts OpEx training, guidance and education as needed
Becomes local Subject Matter Expert on OpEx methodology and tools
Coordinates with Regional OpEx Manager to ensure alignment with strategy
Benchmark with other industries who are implementing Business or Operational Excellence
Become involved in the global Operational Excellence process and identify synergies and common ground between Sites.
Communicate the departmental goals, to provide cost effective best in class solutions for the business.
Resolves project/system issues by working with team members, project customers, and others as appropriate.
Promote a culture of perfect performance and Enhanced Right first time within their team.
Maximise the potential of all personnel, by successful career development planning and by encouraging an atmosphere of involvement, open communication and effective teamwork.
Monitor performance, and complete performance reviews.0
What you need to apply:
Third level qualification in Science, Engineering or Business required.
3 years plus of Background in manufacturing environment, with relevant experience of continuous improvement and velocity increase.
3 years plus of Detailed Knowledge of cGMP and regulatory requirements relating to the pharmaceutical industry.
3 years plus of Good verbal and written communication skills, and excellent presentation skills.
3 years plus of Demonstrated project management skills, including the ability to deliver projects on schedule, within budget, and meeting the predefined quality requirements.
Total combined minimum years of experience required three.
Experience in Digital Transformation Strategy and digital solutions preferred.
