Finance Analyst

Team Horizon is seeking a Finance Analyst for our client, who are a biopharmaceutical company at their Dublin based manufacturing site.

The successful candidate will be a key member of our clients planning and management reporting team. As an Analyst your main focus will be to prepare financial and business analytical reports, assess, review and provide guidance and decision support to your manager as well as internal stakeholders throughout our EMEA markets. The key focus of the position is to provide financial guidance in the form of planning and forecasting analysis to support to the business, with the ability to work cross functionally.

 What you will be doing:

• Perform month-end close FP&A activities and communicate financial results in a timely manner


• Provide support for local and statistical reporting


• Track KPIs and cost center management


• Support quarterly financial planning process


• Working closely with business stakeholders providing analytical support


• Perform detailed P&L reviews


• Provide insight of financial performance through accurate, timely and relevant reporting


• Enable quality reporting through management of master data, hierarchies, reconciling both SAP and non-SAP data.


• Optimize and standardize report catalogues and packs

What you need to apply:

• Part/Newly-Qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, CPA)


• Bachelor’s degree


• Industry experience a plus


• Excellent Excel, PowerPoint (Financial modelling a plus)

• Experience using SAP, Anaplan and Qlik reporting a plus


• Ability to deal with ambiguity, simplify messages, embrace change and comfortable working in a high growth, fast paced and multi-task environment


• Demonstrated success in a deadline driven, mutli-task environment


• Can-do attitude and attention to detail


• Excellent communication, presentation (storytelling) and interpersonal skills


• Ability to work independently and part of a team
