- Team Horizon is seeking a Engineering Services Reliability Manager for our client who are a global leader in the biopharmaceutical industry, for their site in Dublin. In this role you will provide an Engineering service to the plant to maximize the availability and reliability of Process equipment and Utilities equipment. To ensure continual compliance with company policies relating to Personnel, Safety, Quality, Engineering and Finance. You will champion continuous operational improvement to reduce the levels of risk to the business for both equipment and utility related issues on site. To control all relevant engineering budgets.

What you will be doing:
Ensure safety standards are met and safe working practices adhered to.
Lead the implementation of equipment/process upgrade in an environment of continuous improvement.
Support and assist with the procurement, installation, commissioning and validation of new equipment/projects, acting as maintenance SME.
Support the Engineering Team in ensuring that manufacturing equipment is maintained to meet the required legal, divisional and corporate standards.
Implementation of all relevant policies relating to Personnel, Quality, Engineering & Safety.
Monitor the operation of plant equipment and systems and maintain records and documentation on relevant Engineering Procedures and preventative/ demand maintenance to meet current global policies and procedures.
Implement programs and procedures required to ensure plant maintenance is performed in a compliant manner.
Develop engineering solutions to repetitive failures that adversely affect plant operations, including utility, capacity, quality, cost or regulatory compliance issues.
Participate constructively as a member of the Engineering dept, keeping everyone informed and proactively share knowledge and expertise within the team.
Adhere to all cGMP, regulatory and quality requirements, in compliance with all internal SOPs, HPRA/FDA regulations and company policies, procedures and guidelines, in the performance of job duties.
Lead and support deviation investigations, acting as SME working closely with other functions in order determine root cause, leading to the implementation of effective CAPAs, Change Controls, SOPs etc.
Reliability:
Lead and support the plant engineering team with the next level of Maintenance Excellence Program (MEP) to fully integrate MEP into the culture.
Improve performance of maintenance of utilities, facilities and associated equipment by leading and implementing the site reliability-based asset care program.
Track, analyze and improve MEP key performance indicators (KPI’s) parameters such as asset utilization, maintenance cost, site maintenance compliance, schedule etc.
Determine the use of and implement predictive maintenance technologies.
Apply Six Sigma (6?) methodology through the use of tools such root cause failure analysis (RCFA) Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) Failure Mode Effects Analysis (FMEA), Fault tree analysis (FTA) and PM optimization.
Train employees on reliability processes, production teams on the impact that the operators and technicians have on reliability.
Ensure that maintenance routines, procedures, and work plans are developed and documented to the necessary standards for best practice and ensure compliance with GMP and EHS regulations.
Implement and manage a condition-based technology platform linked to critical assets on site – drive down break in’s while increasing reliability.
Electrical & Instrumentation:
Leadership of the site calibration program, ensuring alignment with company standards.
Develop and maintain a calibration dashboard based on monthly costs/calibration alerts/bad actors/extensions/NC and triages at a minimum.
Maintain and advance the electrical and instrumentation infrastructure.
Manage the site electrical shutdowns, developing the change plan, Risk Assessment, co-ordinating the site approach.
To ensure the performance of day-to-day preventative and demand maintenance activity to maintain utility and plant related equipment aligned to the site Maintenance Excellence Program by targeting critical equipment assets for optimization with the emphasis on continual improvements and employee development.
Collaborate with Production to ensure equipment performance is maximized and liaise with Internal/External Engineering Personnel and contract maintenance providers in maintaining troubleshooting and installing/commissioning equipment.
Any other duties as assigned.
What you need to apply:
Third level qualification in Engineering or a relevant discipline along with a minimum of 5 years relevant work experience or Trade qualification plus six years plus engineering experience.
Previous experience in Facilities/Utilities, maintenance or project experience including Black and Clean utilities, Steam, HVAC, Purified water and clean air and wastewater treatment within the pharmaceutical industry.
Demonstrate a proven track record in continuous improvement projects and knowledge of preventive (PM) and predictive (PdM) maintenance procedures and techniques.
Understanding, knowledge, and experience of Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) asset care.
Strong data analysis and analytical skills is beneficial.
Flexible and self-motivated.
Experience in the use of CMMS Systems, ideally Maximo.
