- Team Horizon is seeking a Senior Supply Chain Planner (initial 12-month contract) for our client who are a global leader in the biopharmaceutical industry. In this exciting new role, you will be responsible for translating the master production schedule (MPS) into a feasible and accurate short-term detail schedule for a fixed time, ensuring on time availability of product, whilst taking known constraints and planning parameters into account.

Our client is developing the capability to produce all its medicines in Dublin, helping to ensure continuity of supply of our medicines as they expand internationally.
What you will be doing:
Provide key production planning information to support the client’s integrated business planning (IBP) processes within the 0-13 week time horizon.
Work closely with the area's finite scheduler and product planner providing timely and accurate information to ensure the generation of feasible production schedules.
Is responsible for local weekly and monthly planning processes.
Is responsible for reporting out key KPI's for the client’s planning.
Facilitate weekly scheduling and capacity review meetings with production, QA, warehouse, and process development departments.
Ensure a feasible plan and release plan for the manufacturing areas.
Is responsible for the short-term executional planning process in their assigned area, which support the site’s execution in the client’s S&OP process (Planning cycle). Local processes include production planning, line scheduling, and shipment planning.
Continuously identifies opportunities for system and process improvements and uses operational excellence (OpEx) and project management skills to implement changes.
Report the client’s short-term planning performance metrics for their assigned area.
At times may be asked to present information, analyses, and provide recommendations to management.
Articulate and highlight key master production schedules changes to the MPS lead.
Provide planning SME knowledge to support NC/CAPA investigations.
Manage and monitor SAP / RR transactions to support production plan, capacity analysis, planning cycle and procurement activities.
Convert planned process orders to process orders and ensure a feasible plan.
Co-ordinate with the warehouse department to ensure availability of all components for the production line and the shipment of materials to ensure market supply.
Check component availability against the short-term plan.
Plan and coordinate repackaging activities (REDO) and Scrap requests.
SME for assigned tasks.
Support projects with technical mastery.
Own KPI reporting and coordinate relevant actions.
Create analysis in support of projects or improvements and provide recommendations.
Responsible for portfolio of commercial products, understanding all constraints and dependencies that impact planning activities.
Any other duties as assigned.
What you need to apply:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, or relevant experience.
Approximately 2-5yrs Planning experience in an industrial environment.
SAP ECC Planning Experience essential.
GMP Knowledge.
Familiar with S&OP process.
Familiar with production planning concepts (Materials requirement planning, production scheduling).
Master’s Degree or APICS certification.
Packaging experience.
Min 5 years’ experience in an industrial environment.
Understanding of Class A principals desirable.
Planning system experience (Rapid Response RR).
Experience in Pharma production (Fill-finish and packaging).
QMTS Knowledge/Skills.
Understands basics of quality systems and manufacturing processes.
Effectively manages internal and external stakeholder relationships.
Adapts communication style and works effectively across multiple functions and sites.
Ability to communicate findings clearly and concisely and make recommendations.
Maintains composure and direction in high pressure situations.
Effectively navigates through ambiguity to resolve issues.
Ability to work under minimal direction and independently develop solutions that are thorough, practical, and consistent with functional objectives.
