Product System Engineer

 

Team Horizon is seeking a Product System Engineer for a leading manufacturing company in Galway. Responsible for understanding the development of the overall product system requirement specifications based on customer and internal specifications.

What you will be doing:

•          Review and comprehend system requirements and development.

•          Participate and activity member in Software, Hardware and product design reviews

•          Deliver schedules tasks within agreed time frames.

•          Support Standard list of Failure analysis and system level analysis for warranty cases and 0Km. 

•          Communicate product system information to the 0 km and Warranty team to ensure all checklists and analysis reflect the latest technology and product changes.

•          Coaching and training the team in the product.

•          Support no trouble found process at test stage 3 and 4  System and Vehicle tests).


•          To engage with Platform experts during design reviews to keep up to speed on new Product Development.


•          To Identify critical system and component issues as relevant to 0Km and warranty and to cascade this information to the warranty/0KM engineers to ensure the team has the latest information related to current and future product and to support system level issues within the NTF process.

•          And any other duties as assigned.

 

What you need to apply:

•          3 Years of experience in product development.

•          Demonstrated ability troubleshooting and problem solving methodologies.

•          Bachelor’s degree in engineering ideally mechatronics.

•          Experience of camera and ecu experience.
