Team Horizon is seeking a quality team lead for a leading manufacturing company in Galway. The role is continuously improving the quality performance of issues through thorough standard problem analysis and implementation of permanent corrective actions. While communicating and supporting global DVS sites.

What you will be doing:
• Responsible for managing the PL daily 0Km QRQC taking in issues which have originated in all PL production sites as necessary.
• Responsible for managing and improving the process flow of returned warranty parts, from quality, production testing, to R&D ensuring defined deadlines are adhered to and met.
• Manage the progress of actions on 0km claims with the quality engineers to ensure customer commitment is met.
• Work to reduce the blocking points which lead to delays in the debug analyses.
• Support and manage the 0km technicians day to day debug priorities ensuring that the milestones are met.
• Meet with customers to resolve issues when required.
• Work with quality engineers to ensure PDCA’s and LLC’s are completed as required.
• Manage the action plan for Non conformities found during audits.
• Be involved in the continuous improvement of procedures, documents, tools in accordance to company standards.
• Participate in product quality and process audits. as needed
• Capacity planning and develop forecasts and mitigate risks for 0Km testing
• Support the execution and resolve any gaps with regards company standards.
• Ensure KPIs are met, measure performance and support corrective actions and lesson learned to ensure targets are met.
• Communication point between 0Km issues and warranty issues.
• Support risk assessments and forecasts in the field risks based on 0Km issues and ensure the right level of priority and visibility based on the risk.
• And any other duties as assigned.
What you need to apply:
• Minimum 3-5 Years experience within a manufacturing environment (ideally Automotive).
• Must have excellent communication skills.
• Be a team player.
• Be proficient in data analysis- Advanced excel, minitab, google sheets.
• Experience in document writing is required, i.e., procedures, specifications, reports, etc.
• Must have excellent problem-solving skills.
• Must be highly computer literate.
