Description
Team Horizon is seeking an AutoCAD Technician (initial 12-month contract) for our client who are a global manufacturing company based in Mayo. This position is to complete duties as assigned for the successful execution and delivery of projects. This role is responsible for the completion of drawings and modelling using the AutoCAD suite of products, Solid Works and other software products needed to complete a project.

What you will be doing:


  • Projects will vary from minor process modifications to large infrastructure projects and parts thereof.


  • Preparing, scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring of design drawings and modelling for project activities.


  • Updating plant drawings for different projects as they are assigned.


  • Monitoring drawing changes and managing the issuance of drawings for the site.


  • All other duties as requested or assigned


 

What you need to apply:


  • Knowledge in civil, mechanical, and electrical construction practices and technical drawings.


  • Strong knowledge in engineering principles.


  • High competency in AutoCAD Suite of products.


  • Ability to understand and willingness to follow corporate policies and procedures for Capital Project Management.


  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent training and experience.


  • Project Management training desirable.


  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Manufacturing and Engineering, including planning, design, installation and commissioning in a GMP Environment.


  • Requirements Analysis, Design Skills, Project Management, Knowledge of Construction Methods and Materials, Process Improvement.


  • Technical Understanding, Documentation Skills, Risk Management, CAD/CAM.


  • Must have excellent computer skills with Word, Excel, Outlook, MS Project, AutoCad, Solid Works.


  • Excellent Communication skills.
