What you will be doing:
To ensure that the activities in the manufacturing facilities are planned in detail to ensure that the delivery of OSD material as per the dates scheduled in the Site Master Schedule and that the activities of preparing for, turnaround from and closing out campaigns are fully integrated and planned in support of production requirements.
Leading maintenance of and driving improvement on production cycle times and schedule adherence.
Completion of batch review activities, as required, to support attainment of the production and shipping schedule
Detailed Planning for all processing rooms (including washrooms) within Building 1 and 2 based upon the site Master Production Schedule.
To support the production of Oral Solid Dosage (OSD) material as per organizational needs in line with all relevant compliance requirements.
Planning and coordinating pre and post campaign production activities.
Liaising with Supply Chain department on Room Utilisation and Master Production schedules and ensuring alignment on schedules and delivery dates within SAP/POMS.
Liaising with the Quality department on sample delivery schedules and turnaround times to ensure alignment.
Maintaining and optimising manpower loading requirements for manufacturing as input into LRP and Annual Plan Book preparations.
Intermediate and Final Product batch review in accordance with site procedure and GMP.
Requires proven problem solving skills under pressure. The position requires detailed evaluation of a number of viable solutions to each problem.
Generate plans to ensure all production demand is met on time in full.
Leading and supporting continuous improvement opportunities with in the Operations
And any other duties as assigned.
What you need to apply:
Ideally a Bachelor Degree in an appropriate Technical or Business Discipline with at least 3 years in a production environment.
Experience of MPS/MRP an advantage.
Working in Cross Functional Teams.
Systems Improvement Implementation experience.
Understanding of planning tools and methods and high level of expertise in standard software packages such as Excel, Visio and/or Project Vision.
Shows a high level of tenacity to ensure closure of issues.
Adheres to and follows all procedures policies and guidelines ensuring compliance with cGMP and HPRA/FDA regulations and company policies, procedures, and guidelines.
The position has a high level of autonomy and individuals are expected to work on their own initiative.
This position is crucial in maintaining the compliance of validated systems ensuring that any changes or modifications are documented and actioned.
May be required to lead Cross Functional Teams and operational improvement projects.
Expected to provide functional expertise to support daily operations.
Individuals will be self-motivated and work with a high level of autonomy.
