Team Horizon is seeking a Analytical Technology Supervisor (Bioassay) for our client based in Mayo. In this role you will lead your high performing team in delivering on the testing schedules for potency and ELISA ID testing as well as the supporting paperwork review and write ups they are responsible for.

What you will be doing:



  • You will coach, mentor and develop your team, building their capabilities and helping them advance their technical aptitude.


  • Partner with your peers to improve efficiencies, brain storm technical issues and troubleshoot any issues that arise.


  • Embed a culture of right first time in a safe, quality focused mindset.


  • You will schedule Daily and Weekly tasks (testing, reviews/write-ups, lab housekeeping) while chairing and leading OPEX & weekly meetings on continuous improvement.


  • Attend daily product release meetings & management of 23 day release of batch testing for Cell-Based Potency Assay (CBPA) group, providing technical expertise as needed.


  • Quality Management Systems – managing individuals’ completions of QMS as well as driving Deviations/Change controls as required


 

What you need to apply:



  • BSc or master’s degree in Biological Science with 3+ years experience in a similiar environment


  • Knowledge of biologics manufacturing, bioassays, biochemistry, biostatistics


  • Demonstrated ability to develop key talent with previous people leadership experience preferred


  • Sound scientific/practical understanding of ELISA based methods


  • Scheduling and project management experience
