Manufacturing Engineer – Team Horizon

 

Team Horizon currently has an exciting opening for a Manufacturing Engineer to join on our client site in Sligo. As a Manufacturing Engineer you will be in charge of technical decision making and project planning for new equipment and processes.

What you will bedoing:



  • Technical oversight on existing lines, investigation of yields and quality trends.


  • Prepare appropriate CAPA plans and implement per timelines.


  • Partnering with Marketing and Business Development, Customers, Suppliers, Vendors, and Internal Cross-Functional teams as required.


  • Ensuring projects are delivered on-time and within budget according to business requirements.


  • Coordination and analysis of equipment performance including identification of improvements that will lead to improved OEE.


  • Decision making on assembly equipment aligned with GMP requirements.


  • Establish and maintain calibration, preventive maintenance and spare parts programs and ensuring compliance with calibration and maintenance requirements.


  • Ensure safety standards are met and safe working practices adhered to.


  • Ensuring compliance with all Quality, Regulatory, GMP requirements and adherence to all policies and relevant legislation.




What you need to apply:



  • Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent in Manufacturing Engineering or other relevant Engineering Program


  • 3 years plus of Experience


  • Demonstrated knowledge of assembly equipment processes and technologies


  • Strong analytical problem solving skills; statistics knowledge/experience would be advantageous.


  • Previous project/process management, product technology transfer/NPI and validation experience is desirable


  • Results driven with proven ability to prioritize work


  • Proven ability to deliver projects on time and within budget


  • Good working knowledge of quality systems would be helpful


  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential


  • Working knowledge of AutoCad and/or Solidworks is a benefit
