Manufacturing Manager (Pharma Eyecare) – Team Horizon

 

We are now recruiting for an experienced Manufacturing Manager to join our client site on a fixed term contract basis. 

As our new Manufacturing Manager, you will be responsible for the supervision of manufacturing operations with the Unit Dose department according to procedural and regulatory requirements. You will be supporting activities based on a 12hr shift.

What you will bedoing:



  • Lead, motivate and mentor your team to maximise their effectiveness by clearly communicating task details and goals to your team members, allowing them to work effectively


  • Oversee and organize the teams ongoing training and development


  • Oversee the shift management including delegation and allocation of tasks


  • On floor responsibility for pro-active compliance management for safety and quality requirements


  • On floor process confirmation checks of task execution, batch file, logbook, trackers etc.


  • Provide technical expertise for investigation and resolution of process deviations, root cause investigation, CAPAs, process improvements, review and approval of change controls


  • Provide technical leadership to functional areas and collaborate with key Stakeholders.


  • Prioritization of activities to achieve the schedule including schedule management and on floor


  • status confirmations.


  • Rapidly response the manufacturing issues, firstly within the team and escalating to support


  • stakeholders as required.


  • On floor preparation and execution of shift handover.




What you need to apply:



  • Degree in Chemical engineering, biopharmaceutical, engineering, process engineering, life sciences


  • Technical background in pharmaceutical, biologics, or similar industries


  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Pharma/Medical Devices/Food Operations


  • A minimum of 1 year team direct supervisory experience in a team environment


  • Clear understanding of working within a regulated environment
