- Operations Excellence Specialist – Team Horizon
We are currently recruiting an ambitious Operations Excellence Specialist to be part of our client’s team who are a global, research-based biopharmaceutical company that combines the focus and passion of leading-edge biotech with the expertise and capability of an established pharmaceutical leader. In this role you will support the implementation of Lean Six Sigma and continuous improvement programs while identifying opportunities to significantly improve efficiency, agility, and reduce cost.

What you will bedoing:
Executing continuous improvement efforts throughout the company to meet service, quality, and cost objectives.
Support functional leadership and assigned teams with development of both strategic project portfolios and detailed project plans.
Establish and maintain network of change agents and be the focal point for continuous improvement expertise and troubleshooting within all support functions.
Apply the concepts, tools, and training techniques of Lean and Six Sigma philosophies.
Influence and motivate senior management to identify opportunities and apply Lean and Six Sigma philosophies.
Support and motivate project teams to ensure timely and successful delivery of projects.
Provide regular communication of project status to departmental staff and leadership.
Facilitate and close out Root Cause Analysis activities on key issues across the site.
Lead education and training in Lean and Six Sigma tools across all departments.
What you need to apply:
Third level qualification in engineering, science-based or equivalent discipline required.
Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in Lean/6 Sigma Business Excellence role preferable.
Good organization skills and time management with the ability to critically assess issues and execute problem solving using initiative.
Fluent written and verbal English.
