- Team Horizon currently has an exciting opening for a Quality Assurance Technician to work on our client’s medical device manufacturing facility in Sligo.

What you will bedoing:
Completing in-process and final release product testing per the relevant approved specifications and procedures.
Completing incoming product testing per the relevant approved specifications and procedures.
Completing Incoming Inspection Reviews of Incoming Material
Reviewing batch records and ensuring documentation is compliant to requirements
Generating batch records for as required in support of manufacturing process orders.
Completing disposition decision for the batch.
Ensuring management is kept informed of all product failures to ensure corrective/preventive action and product containment is taken where necessary.
Ensuring Quality System documentation is thorough, complete, and compliant.
Supporting change management process as part of role and ethos of continuous approval
Providing metrics for inclusion in the management review, monthly reports etc.
Ensure compliance to training requirements is maintained.
Participating in continuous improvement programs to implement improvements in the quality, safety, environmental and production systems at the site.
Adheres to and follows all procedures policies and guidelines ensuring compliance with cGMP and ISO/FDA regulations and company policies, procedures and guidelines.
Shows a high level of attention to detail and tenacity to ensure any issues noted are elevated to the Operations Quality Team Leader.
What you need to apply:
A third level qualification in a Science/Engineering or other appropriate discipline
Minimum of 1 year+ experience in the day-to-day operation of the quality system in a highly regulated combination product/device manufacturing environment.
High level of attention to detail and focus
Ability to adapt to new processes on a regular basis.
