Workshop Service Engineer – Team Horizon
Are you a qualified maintenance engineer with brilliant customer service skills looking for an interesting career change? Our client may have the perfect opportunity for you! A Dublin based role has opened up for a workshop service engineer. If successful you will present a professional image and increase customer service levels, find, diagnose and rectify faults and order the necessary spare parts as efficiently as possible, plan services and inspection of the fleet and help the back office in keeping accurate planning master data.

What you will be doing:
Communicating with customers in a professional and competent manner consistent.
Finding, diagnosing and rectifying faults as deemed necessary and order the necessary spare parts as efficiently as possible
Adhering to all company H&S and Environmental policies and procedures and site policies and to ensure familiarity with the requirements of the current safety standards.
Guaranteeing time sheet data is accurate and up to date to allow smooth processing of all jobs.
Confirming ERP system is maintained and updated daily, and jobs closed out once completed.
Communicating with the first line of management for authorisation of parts and process order numbers accordingly
Working under own initiative without constant supervision
Making sure all allocated work is adhered to and to notify Team Leader / Controller if in arrears
Ensuring that the specified Engineering Standards and Safe Working Practices and all Company Policies and Procedures are followed at all times.
Ensuring that all stock levels/movement records are accurate and correct
Ensuring all company issued equipment is kept in a satisfactory condition
Any other duties which arise as a result of the above
What you need to apply:
Qualified maintenance engineer (NVQ level 3/ equivalent) in relevant discipline or industry experience.
Brilliant customer service skills
Excellent communication skills - telephone and email.
Flawless attention to detail
IT Skills (Microsoft Office suite)
Ability to maintain and achieve monthly targets and goals
Spirited, motivated and pro-active team player
