The ideal candidate will bring sufficient technical depth to challenge the design and construction teams when required, particularly in relation to critical power, electrical resilience, safety and commissioning, while also understanding that successful delivery of a project of this scale depends on collaboration and effective management of interfaces.
Experience of a major hospital project would be highly advantageous. • Provide technical input into risk assessments and project assurance processes.
    Commissioning and Operational Readiness

  • Provide electrical engineering input throughout the testing, commissioning and integrated systems testing phases.

  • Review and challenge commissioning strategies, plans, procedures and results.

  • Work closely with the hospital's maintenance and operational teams to ensure that systems are maintainable, accessible and suitable for the intended operational environment.

  • Ensure that commissioning activities demonstrate not only individual system performance but also the integrated performance and resilience of the hospital's electrical infrastructure.

  • Any other duties assigned.
