Team Horizon is seeking a Project Manager for a leading pharmaceutical company in Athlone.


We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to support the pharmaceutical capital projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading project execution, managing schedule delivery, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring the project progresses through commissioning, qualification, and validation activities in line with regulatory requirements.

What you will be doing:



  • A strong background in pharmaceutical manufacturing projects and direct experience managing CQV activities is essential.

  • Lead project planning, execution, monitoring, and control activities.

  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules and recovery plans.

  • Manage, risks, issues, and change controls.

  • Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including Engineering, CQV, Operations, Quality, Automation, Process Engineering, and Vendors.

  • Drive project performance against key milestones and deliverables.

  • Facilitate project meetings and provide clear status updates to senior leadership.

  • Identify critical path activities and develop mitigation plans for schedule risks.

  • Ensure turnover packages are completed and transferred in accordance with project requirements.

  • Coordinate commissioning and qualification activities to support startup and validation readiness.

  • Manage vendor relationships and ensure delivery in accordance with contract commitments.

  • Ensure project execution complies with GMP, regulatory, EHS, and company standards.

  • Any other duties as assigned


 


What you need to apply:



  • Bachelor degree in Engineering or related discipline.

  • 5 years of Project Management.

  • Pharma Commissioning Experience

  • Strong leadership and planning skills.
