Team Horizon is seeking a Electrical Utilities Engineer for a leading pharmaceutical company in Sligo.

What you will be doing:



  • Support Site Services Team in the Turnover/Commissioning of Project.

  • Conduct Walk downs with Project Team on behalf of Site & Generate Punch-list as required.

  • Manage Punch-list and Oversee Close out of raised Punches.

  • Review Documentation of various systems prior to turnover.

  • Liaise with Project System Owners as required.

  • Assist with the Commissioning & Supporting of System Integration.

  • Ensure Safety & Quality standards are met, and safe working practices adhered to

  • Developing a project plan and qualification strategy in line with company requirements.

  • Project activities may include but not are not limited to the following:

  • Monitor and report on project plan progress, communicate any shortfalls in specific areas of the plan and where needed identify solutions to address the shortfalls.

  • Organise and or attend any necessary meetings that are required for progress gathering or plan alignment

  • To communicate with project stakeholders required support.

  • All other duties as requested or assigned.


 


What you need to apply:



  • Electrical Engineering Degree Desired but not essential.

  • Electrical Trade qualified (QQI Level 6) – Advanced Craft Electrical Cert or Electrical & Instrumentation Cert 5 years’ experience in Engineering or related discipline is a necessary requirement for this position with project management experience.

  • Knowledge/Understanding of Site Electrical Infrastructure, Substations, Electrical Distribution, PLC’s, Electrical Drawings, P&ID’s, IS.101010, etc. Comfortable using IT applications including MS Word, Excel etc.
