Controls Engineer


 


Team Horizon is seeking a Controls Engineer for a leading manufacturing company in Mayo.


The company is looking for someone who has experience in a manufacturing/pharma setting, they need to have experience with PLC’s Robotics and automated systems. The role is shift work, we have two open positions.

What you will be doing:


•          Support operation of automated equipment by carrying out fault diagnosis and identification in conjunction/collaboration with maintenance technician team of: PLC’s, Robotics controllers, PC controllers, Automated instruments, SCADA systems, Data Historians, Serialisation systems.


•          Ensure functional operation of Floor IT Systems hardware (PC’s, HMI’s).


•          Data analysis of fault issues to support improvements and upgrades.


•          Automation project work as required outside primary support function.


•          Identify faults and improvements through data analysis and be able to work with a variety of PLC systems.


•          All other duties as requested or assigned.


 


What you need to apply:


•          Electrical, Electronic or Control Systems Engineering qualification or equivalent.


•          Other Engineering qualifications with suitable training and experience in above systems.


•          Electrician/Instrumentation/Mechatronics Technician with suitable training and experience in above systems.
