Team Horizon is seeking a Test & Validation Data Analytics Engineer to join our client’s state of the art automotive vision systems manufacturing facility in the West of Ireland.

In this role, you will be supporting the test & validation department in collecting the test data, review & analysis of tests data and reporting conclusions to aid the project & platform team in making well-informed product development decisions.

What you will be doing:



  • Review & understand Valeo internal & customer requirements for test data analysis includes data generation, data pipeline, data visualization and reporting format with the project/platform & DV team.


  • Review requirements for mechatronics product testing (test plan & test specification), DV/PV tests setup, automated test scripts used for product testing.


  • Work with project validation engineers in achieving understanding of product testing requirements, test methodology for accurate data analysis and reporting.


  • Download & sort raw test data from test server on daily basis from each test (operational & non-operational).


  • Process raw test data for Valeo internal visualization tool.


  • Perform Data analysis on processed data using Valeo internal visualization tool on daily basis for each test leg & test.


  • Report data analysis - OK/NOK results in dashboard format to project for overall DV/PV - each test leg in DV/PV - each test in DV/PV.


  • Present NOK results to the validation engineer/project/platform team.


  • Support validation engineer/project/platform team on finding PDCA activity through data analysis.


  • Document all plots from visualization for each test in the data reporting template and share with the Validation engineer to be used for final customer reports.


  • Report data analysis status to the project team and management on a regular basis (QRQC, 5mm…)


  • Generation of test data reports, peer-reviews of data and follow up on approval.


  • Create daily and weekly activity report on project and non-project related activities using dashboards made available.


  • Participate in lessons learned across the various projects.


  • Support senior engineers in the group for operational tester H/W & S/W integration and verification prior release to testing.


  • Compliance to lab integrity charter


  • Showcase & 5S & safety managed within the lab.


  • Laboratories to be recognised by customer.


  • And any additional duties.

Education



  • A relevant Technical Engineering Degree e.g., Computer & Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, Data Analytics.


  • Master’s degree in Data Analytics will be an advantage.


  • Basic understanding of National Instruments (LabVIEW/or TestStand).


  • Computer literate in MS Office suite (Word, Excel) and Google suite (Gmail, Gdrive, Calendar, sheets)


Professional Experience



  • Experience with Big data sorting, review & reporting.


  • Good working knowledge of SQL, Data Analysis with MS Access, and Excel.


  • 1-2 years of experience with data analysis, modeling, and data reporting through dashboard.


  • Proven ability to use Excel to clean, transform and report data to development team.


  • Good working knowledge of Python.


  • Understanding of Microsoft Power BI will be an advantage.


  • Ability to read, analyse and interpret complex documents /schematics.


  • Basic working knowledge of automotive electronics systems (vision systems desirable).


  • Basic knowledge of mechatronics product testing & Validation e of test & validation method.
