- Team Horizon is seeking a Senior Product Specialist on a 12-month contract for our client in Dublin.The role is to promote the client and their products to the medical profession and agreed associated professions whilst developing relationships and support with key opinion leaders and groups of influential health care professionals.

What you will be doing:
Developing and maintaining a high level of knowledge in terms of disease areas, products, competitors and changing environment to create maximum impact on Sales performance.
To plan and organize activity to achieve coverage and frequency of customer groups as agreed with Manager to maximize promotional activities.
To report accurately all activities carried out in line with company procedure in a timely manner. This will include weekly updates on performance, sales and activity, environmental issues/changes to competitor activity.
Provide sales information to Business Unit Manager each month to support development of a proposed forecast.
Recording of call activity in line with salesforce excellence requirements to facilitate the analysis of targeted messages and sales performance.
To control budgeted promotional expenditure within the territory, as agreed with Manager, to maximize profitability.
To maintain standards of conduct in line with company procedure and in accordance with the IPHA code of practice to maintain and enhance the reputation of the Company.
Collect market intelligence and use approved methods of communicating this to Manager.
Active member of designated infield team, assuming infield coordinator roles where required.
And all other duties assigned.
What you need to apply:
Primary degree in science/nursing and/ or relevant sales experience.
In-dept previous experience in the relevant therapeutic area and relationships with relevant multi-disciplinary teams desired but not essential.
Proven track record in sales with continued demonstrated strong performance and achievement of sales targets.
