Team Horizon is seeking Intermediate Structural Engineers for a engineering client based in Dublin and Cork.
As an intermediate structural engineer you will be required to work within the structural team under the direction of a lead engineer. Duties may include undertaking design calculations and reports, attending internal design team meetings, attendance at client review meetings, checking structural drawings, etc.

What you will be doing:
Be able to produce structural design calculations and reports for specific elements of the project.
Work with the structural team to assist with the development of the 3d Revit model, and then be able to review and check drawings.
Actively cooperate with members of your project task force, client personnel and members of your department, as appropriate.
Understand client expectations, as determined by the team, and constantly strive to achieve or better these.
Meet commitments that you make to the client, individually or as a team, to complete work by certain dates or within agreed man-hour or cost budgets.
And any other duties as assigned.
What you need to apply:
Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering.
Chartered engineer Preferable.
Technically proficient with Eurocode, BSI and Irish design standards and codes.
Proficient with structural design softwares (ROBOT/TEKLA Designer, etc).
Excellent communications skills.
5years+ experience in the design of building structures.
