Team Horizon is seeking an Industrial Engineer for our client Biopharma Manufacturing site in Dublin.

What you will be doing:



  • This role is a key member of the Site Operational Excellence Group reporting the Senior Manager Operational Excellence/ Business Performance.


  • The mandate of this group is to enable teams and business functions to improve operations and reduce waste by improving reliability and efficiency, through the use and application of Continuous Improvement tools, techniques, and methodologies.


  • The Industrial Engineer will have in-depth knowledge of continuous improvement tools, techniques, and methodologies and practical experience applying them to improve the performance of processes, people, and systems.


  • They will engage with internal customers to support their efforts to solve complex problems and improve performance.

    Key Responsibilities:


  • Perform data analysis and data visualization to support continuous improvement projects


  • Deliver improvement projects or participate as a OE SME on larger improvement efforts


  • Lead / participate in Kaizen events


  • Train staff on OE tools and coach them on usage of tools in their projects


  • Identification and justification of project financial savings.


  • Any other tasks/projects assigned as per manager’s request


 

What you need to apply:



  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent


  • Experienced in advanced MS Excel or equivalent and demonstrated experience accessing data from systems and visualizing it to gain insights


  • Experience in using Power APPs would be an advantage


  • Excellent oral and written communication skills


  • Excellent interpersonal and mentoring skills


  • Strong analytical skills


  • Ability to execute and manage projects and programs


  • Strong computer skills and demonstrated expertise with MS Office applications including MS Project


  • Experience implementing Continuous Improvement methodologies would be an advantage


  • Experience developing standards and performing resource modelling would be an advantage


  • Financial acumen
