Team Horizon currently has an exciting opening for a Product Design Engineer. As the new Product Design Engineer for Science & Technology (S&T), you will have the opportunity to collaborate across multiple sites and apply engineering knowledge to complete complex assignments. Working within an award-winning team for you will develop engineering/technical solutions for products and processes, including the transfer of new products from CPD (combination product development) into manufacturing, support regulatory submissions and implementation of major line improvements.

What you will bedoing:- Develop, plan, coordinate and direct S&T projects as required and in line with business strategy.
- Act as technical lead for Design Verification activities conducted within S&T for projects with global scope and importance for both new products and existing products.
- Participate in investigations and develop technical solutions concerning product functional issues and problems.
- Develop, improve or transfer test methods for combination devices and associated subassemblies and components.
- Deliver guidance and support to resolve any product functional issues and ensure that they comply with manufacturing & design standards.
- Independently design and conduct critical experiments that further project goals.
- Implement (and may innovate or design) new experimental protocols/techniques.
- Appreciate the goal of and maintain a high proficiency in projects as well as the overall program objective.
- Design and execute plans to support product changes and updates.
- Follow corporate standards regarding code of conduct, safety, appropriate handling of materials, controlled drug and radioactive compounds, GxP compliance, and animal care where applicable.
- Travel is required for 15% of the time
What you need to apply:- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or an equivalent qualification with Masters preferred.
- 3 years in a similar role in a regulated manufacturing environment (medical device experience is preferred).
- Knowledge of process and test equipment qualifications, preparing and executing of IQ/OQ and PQ protocols
- Experience with device design controls – design and development plans, design inputs, design outputs, design verification & validation and design transfer.
- Be an innovative thinker.
