If you’re qualified and have at least 1 year + cleanroom experienceyou may be interested to know that we have an exciting opening for a Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Tech to work on our client’s manufacturing facility in Mayo. You will be focused on a new facility build. Starting off you will be concentrating on area readiness, equipment qualification through to aseptic process simulations and onto commercial manufacturing. You will be responsible for developing all required documentation for the new facility and equipment, assisting the various project team members in completing equipment qualifications from FATs through to performance qualifications. Flexibility of working hours is required as shift work may be required upon request and travel is required 5 % of the time.

What you will be doing:- Looking after all aspects of drug product manufacture, including all batch preparation activities, compounding, sterile filtration and sterile filling.
- Helping the NPI lead with the transfer process.
- Helping the new manufacturing area through commissioning and qualification to commercial manufacturing.
What you need to apply:- 3rd level qualification in a scientific discipline or chemical engineering
- 1+ year cleanroom experience
- Understanding in GMP manufacturing and processing
- Solid understanding of New Product Introductions (NPI)
- Solid experience in the use of single use technologies – understand the requirements around them and also be capable of working with the various vendors on the development/improvement of new/existing systems.
- Experience with prefill syringe technology and single use systems preferred
- Strong trouble shooter skills
- Skilled with single use technologies and an understanding of autoclave sterilization, dehydrogenation, filter integrity testing essential
- Brilliant report / procedure writing skill set required
