- Maintenance Technician – Team Horizon
We are seeking applications from Maintenance Technicians for our client’s cosmetics manufacturing business in Cork.

What you will be doing:
This is an important role within the Engineering team and will be responsible for the provision of maintenance support including the preparation and set-up of production machinery in the filling and packing section. This role is based in the Cork site.
The key areas of responsibility for this position are:
You will prepare and set up the production machinery in the filling and packing department, including volumetric filling, capping, labelling and coding equipment
Carry out maintenance and repair of same production equipment.
Follow Planned Preventative Maintenance schedule, execute maintenance procedures in full and on time, and complete associated documentation.
You will use your mechanical know how to troubleshoot breakdowns and/or issues of poor machine outputs (OEE)
Be responsible for the cleaning and sanitisation of filling and associated equipment in accordance with site procedure
Provide assistance in other production and general areas as required
Comply to cGMP practises and compliance with all quality and hygiene requirements
Complete all relevant paperwork and batch records as required.
What you need to apply:
A strong mechanical or electrical mind and a keen interest in how something works in order to successfully troubleshoot.
Third level qualification in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent is highly desirable but not compulsory.
Previous experience in maintenance and troubleshooting of manufacturing experience.
Experience working in a GMP environment is desirable
