Description
Our client has an exciting new role contract opportunity in Dublin. The successful candidate will have a passion for adding client value to projects and the opportunity to work on projects including semiconductor manufacturing, data centre facilities, as well as other state of the art manufacturing facilities. You will manage the team, designer work, perform quality reviews of design packages and assist directly with the more complex portions of the design process. Your team will work closely with client owners in a fast paced, dynamic environment to establish design requirements and produce construction documents.

What you will be doing:



  • Engineering and design oversight for facility power distribution systems, grounding, lighting, and low voltage communications systems.


  • Retrofitting of existing building systems on occasion.


  • Preparing technical specifications and documents for bidding and construction


  • Acting as the electrical discipline lead or quality control reviewer in meetings.


  • Taking part in project proposals and proactively suggesting solutions to clients.


 

What you need to apply:



  • Bachelor's or Master of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering.


  • Chartered Engineer or in the process of applying for Chartership.


  • At least 10 years of experience in engineering design of building electrical


  • Strong working knowledge of ET101.


  • Semiconductor and/or Data Centre/Mission Critical facilities electrical design experience


  • Previous experience of Revit or BIM software


  • Great communication skills both verbal and written


  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills 


  • Curious and innovative


  • Fast learner, keen to learn and share best practices


  • Passionate about Engineering and construction


  • Talent for multi-tasking and collaboration


  • Brilliant organizational skills
