Team Horizon is seeking a Site Engineer for a leading engineering company with a residential construction Project in Castlebar. This is a short-term contract position.

What you will be doing:
Work closely with and report to Senior Engineer, Project Manager and Senior Management.
Check and understand all drawings and specification.
Ensure that any errors/omissions are formally communicated to the design team in timely manner.
Monitor construction, regarding quality of workmanship and materials and recording of same.
Assist with technical submissions to client and document control of same
Assist with management of all aspects of Health & Safety and Quality on site, ensuring compliance with the Company's Quality and Safety Management Systems.
Management of subcontractors on site.
Responsible for site setting out, levels and completing As Built drawings, etc.
All other duties as requested or assigned.
What you need to apply:
Recognised Civil Engineering qualification.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in the construction sector.
Experience working on residential housing projects and Public Works.
Strong operational skills, attention to detail and experience of the design build process.
Excellent IT skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ensure quality control measures on the site are implemented.
Manage the daily technical and engineering requirements.
