- Team Horizon is seeking a Technical Project Manager for a leading manufacturing company based in Galway.
The Technical Project Manager will lead the Research and Development Mechatronic programs.

What you will be doing:
Lead R&D Mechatronic activities associated with improvements, upgrades or cost reductions to current Electronic Control Unit (ECU) programs. These programs are either currently in production or soon to enter production.
Liaise with functional managers to understand and compile all risks associated with these product changes.
Liaise with functional leads to drive activity timelines and risk mitigation actions
Present overview of planned activities and risks to clients overview committees, peers and management.
As the main technical interface between the clients R&D and the customer, coordinate & communicate changes with customers.
Coordinate bill of materials updates and procure associated sign-off / approvals for the relevant members within the project team.
And any additional duties.
What you need to apply:
Minimum 2 years experience in leading multidisciplinary teams in regulated environments such as automotive, medical devices or other similar environment.
Experience in dealing with customers.
Ability to create presentations and present to management or customers.
Technical background in Hardware / Electronics.
Experience in project / task planning & use of planning tools such as MS project or similar planning tools.
Knowledge of design validation or testing programs would be advantageous but not essential.
Experience in any or all of Mechanical, Hardware, Testing programs would be advantageous but not essential
