- Electrical Maintenance Technician
Team Horizon is seeking a Electrical Maintenance Technician for a M&E company working in manufacturing sites in Galway.

What you will be doing:
Mechanical trouble-shooting of production equipment.
Electro-mechanical repairs to high-speed, PLC-controlled plant, equipment, also pneumatic and hydraulic control systems.
Input to and carry out Preventive & Predictive Maintenance Routines.
Support Production Team in achieving targets.
Closely monitor line and machine performance and intervene on line as soon as any deterioration in performance occurs.
To be observant & work off your own initiative when a fault is detected & to take action based on your best judgment on whether to effect immediate repair or not
And any other duties as assigned.
What you need to apply:
Trades Qualified Fitter or equivalent qualification with 5 + years' experience in manufacturing environment.
Demonstrated ability to root cause equipment faults/issues in a logical manner.
Basic knowledge of equipment control systems.
Strong technical background and capabilities.
Knowledge of pneumatic system, mechanical motion systems & electrical drive systems.
