- Senior Project Manager (Supply Chain) – Team Horizon
We are seeking applications for an experienced Project Manager to join our client’s pharmaceutical site in Mayo, if you are excited by the challenges that come from working in a large operation and are passionate about delivering high-quality project execution, strengthening service model for customers and patients, while improving total delivered profit. In this role, you will manage, develop, and deliver business critical projects while ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
Reporting to the EMEA Fulfilment Leadership Team, the other key relationships are with Manufacturing, Customer Services, Transportation, Warehousing, Commercial, Quality and Finance teams, suppliers and services providers, industry associations and regulatory agencies.

What you will be doing:
You will bring strong change management leadership, project and resource management, and communications and collaboration skills
The role ensures operational excellence, sustainability, and continuous improvement in alignment with the client’s global strategy while meeting customer and regulatory requirements in a cost-efficient manner. The role requires leadership and partnership and key stakeholders across the organisation
Executing key, transformations projects as identified by Integrated Supply Chain strategic plan
Manage key cross-functional regional projects sponsored by the head of the region
Embrace and promote continuous improvement methodologies like LEAN, Six Sigma and AGILE
Integrate new business requirements to fulfilment operations and processes
Identify internal and external best-demonstrated practices
Inform EMEA Fulfilment Value Improvement Program (VIP) to improve efficiency, increase customer value and reduce costs
Consider how to most effectively balance Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost to optimize operations
Ensure customers (internal and external) perspective is a driving force behind all business decisions and activities
What you need to apply:
University Degree in Business or Engineering
8-10 years of Project Management in Supply Chain/Operations required relating to Warehouse and Distribution, Customer Service, EHS, Quality Management, Financial Management or Operational Excellence
Fluent written and spoken English
Experience driving diverse and dynamic teams
Excellent communication skills
Proven skills/experience in leading cultural transformation
Drives results with urgency and accountability
Solid financial and business acumen
Ability to learn quickly and adapt to change with a high level of situation adaptability used to manage ambiguity
Holds a strategic mindset and demonstrates courage to act and to fail fast to move forward
Collaborates and plays to win, driving engagement and valuing differences
Can assess operational risks related to supply chain execution and recommend mitigation plans
