- EHS Engineer (337798) – Team Horizon
Team Horizon currently has an exciting opening for an EHS Engineer to join our client’s pharmaceutical site in Kildare.
What you will be doing:
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with ensuring all administrative responsibilities in the EHS department are completed on time and to the requisite high standard. These responsibilities include:
Delivering projects under the PSDP and PSCS role.
To support a HSE Manager on work within a live pharmaceutical plant.
Assisting with the coordination the safe system of work within a live pharmaceutical plant
Assisting with developing and executing health and safety plans in the workplace according to project and legal requirements
Assisting with maintaining and continuous improvement to the site culture for health and safety.
Ensuring all projects meet health, safety and environmental requirements
Continuous monitoring and evaluation
Assisting with recording and tracking of leading Indicators
Recording Safety Observation Reports
Recording Planning & Communication Metrics, Training and HSE Inspections
Implement weekly HSE Inspections
Investigating and reporting on accidents and incidents and reporting to Client and company Management
Assisting with the management of the Project Orientation Process
Management and Coordination of the Reward and Recognition programmers.
What you need to apply:
The role will suit an HSE professional with a qualification in EHS, have a background in Pharma and Construction.
Candidate must be dynamic, versatile, capable of working with multiple disciplines in a live pharmaceutical environment, excellent communicator and strive for continuous improvements.
Be confident, proactive and have strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Facilitation of the companies Safety Culture Workshops
Assisting with organizing and facilitating Safety incentives / events
Identification, development and participation in HSE improvement initiatives.
Excellent computer skills and proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Work and PowerPoint) is a prerequisite.
